Azonix Corporation OEMs marine-rated human machine interfaces (HMI) to a major supplier of engines used upon yachts, tug boats and work boats. This HMI is typically located either in an open or closed bridge displaying critical engine parameters required to operate the vessel.  

Azonix value is supplying a totally sealed, sunlight viewable, small-footprint rugged computer / monitor, which meets Lloyds marine standards. One of the exclusive requirements of this extremely rugged computer was design elegance, since in many cases it is used on high-end million dollar yachts. Some of the unique challenges faced in this design are related to EMI protection that needs to be addressed in marine vessels and protecting the LCD in direct sunlight to prevent it from turning dark.
